The Orem Summerfest is a big deal to me. I absolutely love it! People will set out their blankets days in advance for the parade (which Tim said that if it were anywhere else, a blanket wouldn't hold your spot. So true!) I have missed it for the past four years and I wasn't going to miss it this year. Tim kept calling it the "Lamefest" just to get under my skin. But he will admit that the parade was fun but the carnival could have been better. I thought Bronson wouldn't like all the loud noises from the fire trucks and guns, but I think he was more annoyed that I was covering his ears than from the sounds.
