Two Years!!!

(This is one of my favorite pictures of Bronson)

Two years ago today at exactly 2:22 p.m. I gave birth to Bronson Scott Dillard. I thought the worst was over... little did I know that in about 24 hours I would soon find that was not the case. When we found out that Bronson had a heart problem, and would need open heart surgery to fix his problem, I feared I could possibly lose him too soon. But two open heart surgerys, lots and lots of doctors appointments, and two years later. We have one extremely lively and healthy boy!

Here are a few things I love about Bronson...
  • That he can't fall asleep without his "D" (blanket) or his dog, which he got from his Grandma and Grandpa Dillard.
  • I love his big blue eyes and long eyelashes.
  • He screams "MOMMY" every morning to let me know he is awake and ready for me to come and get him. But usually Tim is the one that gets him, thanks babe!
  • I love the smile he gets on his face when you walk into his room to get him after a nap or in the morning.
  • The way he loves to line up his trucks and cars, we have several lines all over our house. I love that he is so proud of each line and has to show you each one when he completes it.
  • I love that he thinks a shark says "Duh Nuh, Duh Nuh".
  • He used to be afraid of the fan, but now insists on turning it on even if he is freezing cold.
  • Is terrified of getting his hair cut...he even got a nose bleed once from crying.
  • He always wants me to take his shirt off so he can make fart noises with his armpit.
  • I love his sweet and sensitive spirit and the fact that he feels so sorry for the tractors on the movie Cars when they get tipped over.
  • The first thing he asks for in the morning is apple juice.
  • In the car he will let me know if the light is green or red and whether or not I need to go or stop.
  • I love that he would rather play behind the wheel of a car instead of go down a slide.
  • If you let him pick out his own clothes, he always wants to wear one of his football shirts.
  • I love that when I look into his eyes I feel love, joy, peace, and comfort. I am also reminded of why I am here and what this life is all about.
Happy Birthday Bronson I love you!!!
